One of Bali's most notable sunset spots is Rock Bar at the Ayana Resort. After missing out on a visit the last couple of trips, it was easy to see why it is a must see destination when travelling to Bali.
An extra special treat was the private sunset dinner my boyfriend surprised me with. The 'Lobster Pesta' romantic dinner is truly an intimate dining experience located on the edge of the Ayana pier. As you are escorted from the Rock Bar, pass the fresh seafood being meticulously prepared and down a rickety, long pier, you soon realise you are the only table available in this exclusive location. You are treated to a private musical performance of local Indonesian music, your own butler/escort, a beautiful dinner setting covered with rose petals and a breathtaking view which photos can't do justice. It's safe to say that this special and once in a lifetime experience will be engrained in our memories forever.
At 7 million Rupiah a pop, it is more exxy than your typical dinner out in Bali, but well worth it for a special occasion. Be sure to book in advance as this special little treat is in high demand!
