DREAMLAND BEACH

Great way to start our journey with a day trip to Dreamland, beach situated on the Bukit peninsula.

Reports online indicated that this once hidden gem had lost its charm due to 'the man' coming in and undertaking large scale construction. Though there is no denying that the concrete structures beginning to frame the landscape is a little saddening, we wouldn't want this to deter anyone from visiting this amazing little spot. Clear blue water, soft clean sand and sunshine still take centre stage at Dreamland beach.

If you do visit, heading up the flight of stairs to Klapa Hotel could be a good option. To gain access you need to pay 100,000RP (Roughly $10 AUD); however you are issued a voucher for that amount where you can use your credit as you wish in the hotel. With an amazing infinity pool, deck chairs, reasonably priced food & drink and unbeatable views it was definitely worth the small outlay.

Even though Dreamland beach has lost some of its natural, untouched charm it was so famously known for, it is without doubt still a jewel in Bali's crown of beautiful beaches.
